“I have never played in such conditions, it was a really strange experience. In the second half we couldn’t even see the markings on the pitch, the game should not have been played,” Del Piero said.
“Even the football was hard to see, and that is a different colour. It’s a shame and we are very disappointed for this elimination.
“We wanted to go through, but we have not. It’s hard to be eliminated without even losing a game.”
Five consecutive draws cost Juventus, with Lech and Manchester City going through to the next round.
