“Our starting XI is as strong as the top two teams in this division but you won’t hear any talk from us about promotion. We have shown great consistency and as long as we keep on progressing then I will be satisfied.”
Bristol City manager Keith Millen will look to his side to continue their unbeaten streak after it extended to four games without defeat following their weekend draw with Preston North End.
Millen said: “I was very disappointed with our first-half performance as we gave Preston far too much room. But in the end both sides have had some great chances to win the match. We dominated the second half territorially, but they always looked dangerous on the break.
“It’s four games unbeaten for us now and we are definitely going in the right direction, but we are not out of the mire yet by any means and have two tough away games coming up. Perhaps the players and the supporters were guilty of thinking we only had to turn up to win after our victory at Middlesbrough, but it is never that easy in a competitive league like the Championship.”
