Simon Grayson was furious with his players after Leeds allowed a ten-man Hull City to draw 1-1 at Elland Road on a late own goal from Bradley Johnson.
The home side were sitting comfortably on a lead against a Hull side that had gone seven games without a win prior to the draw but Leeds failed to capitalise on the advantage after the Tigers’ John Bostock was sent off with 12 minutes left.
Leeds have now gone four home games without a win and just one point from the clutch has left Grayson frustrated with his players for lacking the experience to cope at this level.
Grayson snapped: “It is so frustrating because we really should have won. Our naivety after Hull went down to 10 men was hugely disappointing — we allowed them to come back and snatch a draw. It just shows that there are things we still need to put right. We cannot afford to get sloppy.”
