“This means Bryan Ruiz will not play for FC Twente again before the winter break,” read a club statement. Twente are certain of finishing third in UEFA Champions League Group A and earning a berth in the UEFA Europa League ahead of their home game with Tottenham Hotspur FC on 7 December.
