Although we were the team in control, the nervousness in the stands was generated by the fact that we didn’t close out the game earlier and we may have only finished with a point had they scored.
“The ball simply wouldn’t go in for us at times. I’m thrilled with how my players performed after the break. In the end our football won the day.”
FC Kobenhavn coach Stale Solbakken said: “My players showed courage in there. They lost the ball sometimes, but the mental approach was OK. We played our own game and tried to learn. Some of the players can now go home and think that they have the level to play in the Spanish Liga.”
